What have you learned since taking classes with PYLV?
PYLV reminded me that yoga during pregnancy isn’t about doing more or pushing harder. It’s about listening, adapting, breathing, and trusting your body. I learned to honor where I was in each moment and to see movement as a conversation with my body rather than something I needed to perfect. Those lessons have stayed with me well beyond pregnancy.
How to Prepare for Birth: 3 Things I Want Every Expecting Parent to Know
As a perinatal movement teacher and doula, there are a few things that can really help when preparing for birth. Not because you can plan every detail or control how your birth will unfold, but because preparation can help you feel more confident, supported, and grounded when the unexpected happens.

What have you learned since taking classes with PYLV? So much! I can’t even compare the person I was to the person I am now. I learned how important it is to slow down, listen to my body, and give myself grace through all the changes.
The Power of Presence: The Gift Your Baby Actually Needs
I started teaching prenatal and postnatal yoga in Las Vegas because I believe the mat is a place to come home to yourself. Not just to stretch. Not just to strengthen. But to practice the thing that modern life keeps interrupting. Being here.

When did you start taking classes with PYLV?
I started taking the restorative yoga classes on and off with PYLV about 4 years ago when we started our journey to start a family. I have now been consistently taking prenatal yoga classes with PYLV since December, when I was just starting my second trimester of pregnancy.

What have you learned since taking classes with PYLV?
Since starting classes, I’ve learned so much about my body and how to rebuild strength after having a baby. I’ve also learned many new stretches and yoga poses, as I had never taken a yoga class before joining PYLV. I truly enjoy the practice and how it makes me feel both physically and mentally.

What would you tell a new parent considering taking prenatal or baby & me yoga classes?
Don't walk, run towards PYLV! You won't regret it. It will only enhance your relationship to your Self, your body/mind/spirit and those around you.

How has your practice impact your parenting?
Practicing yoga has made a positive impact on my parenting because it gives me extra tools to teach my kids. My daughter loves attending the TOT & Me class with Miss Flavia, and one of the big take aways for Belle is the breathing exercise (especially the breathing balls). So when Belle has big feelings, we utilize our breathing exercise from yoga to recenter ourselves.
