What would you tell a new parent considering taking prenatal or baby & me yoga classes?
I 100% recommend classes at PYLV. Of course the classes themselves are great, you learn a lot and move your body in ways geared towards motherhood, but what really stands out to me is the community and safe space that has been curated. As a more introverted person, that has been something difficult to find. Everyone is so welcoming and it’s easily the highlight of my week!

What have you learned since taking classes with PYLV?
Like Angela says, “motion is lotion!” I’ve been regularly taking prenatal yoga classes since June and prenatal/ postnatal Pilates classes since September. I can’t thank Angela enough for all the amazing work she does for mommas and their families! I feel like I actualized my goals of becoming a healthier and stronger mom for my family.

What would you tell a new parent considering taking prenatal or baby & me yoga classes?
I highly recommend taking prenatal and /or baby classes because we learn so much from the classes and attendees. I thought the best way to learn is from real-life experiences. Parents are also able to bond and become friends with each other.

Together, they’ve embraced the joys and challenges of motherhood while watching their daughters grow and thrive. Here’s a look into how Baby & Me Yoga has become a heartwarming ritual for them, their children, and their friendship.

My name is Cassie and I am a first time mom to my baby boy Wesley (Wes for short) although we didn’t intend to, we picked that name after Wes Craven, horror film director. Me and my husband are big horror fans and Scream was both our first movie that got us into horror. I am an artist that loves to paint with acrylics and oils in my free time. I can’t wait to show Wesley how to paint and create with me.

How has your practice impact your parenting?
It impacts so many different areas, PYLV is a whole-person approach, where you train your body, mind, and soul. It helps me to reduce my physical symptoms during pregnancy. Also, it helps me to reduce my anxiety and makes me feel that I am not alone in this journey.
