Meet Taylor
My name is Taylor, and I am currently in my third trimester. I am a behavior analyst and, before that was a teacher; in both, I have been able to work with kids who have autism for the past 20 years. I love hiking, kayaking, camping, or just getting outside with my husband and dog.
When did you start taking classes with PYLV?
I started taking the restorative yoga classes on and off with PYLV about 4 years ago when we started our journey to start a family. I have now been consistently taking prenatal yoga classes with PYLV since December, when I was just starting my second trimester of pregnancy.
What have you learned since taking classes with PYLV?
I have learned that yoga not only helps with the body but also centers the mind. I can go into class feeling super scattered and come out focused and refreshed.
What is your favorite yoga pose?
Chair pose - it grounds me physically, mentally, and emotionally.
What would you tell a new parent considering taking prenatal or baby & me yoga classes?
PYLV classes not only offer yoga and pilates classes but also a community. Having this community has helped me through the highs and lows of pregnancy, and I can't wait to partake in the baby and me community as well.
