Our Story & Values

Movement, community, and care through every stage.

Our Story

Founded in 2019 by Angela Reis, Prenatal Yoga Las Vegas was created with a simple but meaningful vision: to make perinatal yoga more accessible, welcoming, and community-centered for families across Las Vegas.

From the beginning, PYLV was designed to feel different from a traditional yoga studio. Instead of asking families to fit into a space that may not feel comfortable or convenient, we chose to meet our community where they are. By partnering with like-minded local businesses, we offer prenatal yoga classes, workshops, and trainings in spaces that feel supportive, modern, and connected.

What started as a local vision has grown into a trusted community for thousands of families in Las Vegas and beyond. We are proud to have supported parents through pregnancy, postpartum, and the ever changing journey into parenthood with movement, education, and meaningful connection.

Today, Prenatal Yoga Las Vegas is also home to the only Yoga Alliance-approved Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training in the Las Vegas area, helping expand access to high-quality, inclusive prenatal yoga for even more families in our community.

At our core, we believe yoga is not just about movement. It is about connection, support, and creating space for people to feel seen, informed, and empowered in every season of family life.

Our Values

Our values were shaped by our teachers, ambassadors, and community. They are not just words we believe in. They are how we practice, teach, and show up.

Accessibility

We believe movement and support should feel possible, not out of reach.

Accessibility means creating experiences that feel welcoming, adaptable, and realistic for the families we serve.

In practice:
We chose a community-based model over a traditional studio, keep classes approachable, and teach in a way that honors different bodies, needs, and journeys.

Authenticity

We believe real community starts with being real.

We create space for the honest experience of pregnancy, postpartum, and parenthood, not just the polished version.

In practice:
We tell stories, keep things relatable, and welcome families exactly as they are. Babies can cry. Toddlers can be toddlers.

Belonging

We believe every family deserves to feel safe, seen, and welcomed.

Belonging is at the heart of everything we do and shapes how we build community.

In practice:
We keep classes small, know our students by name, and create meaningful opportunities for connection in and beyond class.

Empowerment

We believe families are stronger and wiser than they are often led to believe.

In a world full of noise and opinions, we want to help parents reconnect with their own strength and inner knowing.

In practice:
We teach in a way that builds confidence, supports informed choices, and gives the power back to the parent.
