What would you tell a new parent considering taking prenatal or baby & me yoga classes?

Do it! It is such a welcoming space. Go as you are and enjoy it. No worries if scheduling and consistency are tough. I have not always been able to prioritize it, but when I can, I never regret it. It’s a highlight of my week every time.

What would you say to someone who is thinking about trying prenatal yoga?

You will thank yourself for taking prenatal yoga. It feels like a Tylenol for your body, and the community is amazing. All the ladies in class are lovely, and the instructor Tausala is absolutely wonderful!!!! She makes the class so enjoyable and she guides us with knowledge, kindness, and love.

What have you learned since taking classes with PYLV?

PYLV reminded me that yoga during pregnancy isn’t about doing more or pushing harder. It’s about listening, adapting, breathing, and trusting your body. I learned to honor where I was in each moment and to see movement as a conversation with my body rather than something I needed to perfect. Those lessons have stayed with me well beyond pregnancy.
