May 2025 Student of the Month: Ana
We are thrilled to announce Ana as Prenatal Yoga Las Vegas's Student of the Month for May! Since beginning her movement journey with us in Fall 2024 during her pregnancy, Ana has shown incredible dedication, bringing her vibrant energy, humor, and positivity to every class. This month, she also curated our EDM Pilates playlist, adding her personal touch to our practice. Congratulations, Ana!
Meet Ana
I’m a proud mom to baby Nea, who’s now 4 months old. I’m self-employed, working in accounting and bookkeeping, and I also own a beach club in my hometown of Belgrade, Serbia.
When did you start taking classes with PYLV?
I started taking classes when i was 8 months pregnant in November.
What have you learned since taking classes with PYLV?
I learned how to safely strengthen and stretch my body during and after pregnancy and improve posture. It also helped me to do something for myself especially after giving birth, to take a minute to breathe, relax and recover.
What is your favorite yoga pose or movement?
My favorite yoga poses are child’s pose and downward dog.
How has your practice impact your parenting?
Classes helped me to stay calm, patient and present as a new parent.It also helped me to build core strength and posture which supports physical demand of carrying my baby or getting through long active days with her.
What would you tell a new parent considering taking prenatal or baby & me yoga classes?
I would encourage new moms to take baby&me class because it’s safe place to meet new moms, share experience and feel less alone in early parenthood.Class also helps bond with your baby through movement.
