Online Studio Tips

We welcome you to our online studio! Here are some tips to help you get started taking online classes.

Class Registration
Both in-person and online classes are registered through scheduling website, Schedulicity. Here is the link to setup your account: https://www.schedulicity.com/scheduling/AR4NN8. A credit card/payment is required to hold your spot. If you are being financially impacted, scholarships are available. Once you are registered, a Zoom link will be sent to you via class confirmation. (If you have issues registering, please contact us.)

Cancellation
You may register or cancel a class 4 hours prior to class start time.

Device
Classes are taught via Zoom.us. You can setup an account for free. You will need good internet connect and mobile device or computer to join classes. If possible, setup your device in a landscape view so we can get the best view of your practice. This will allow us to see you best and offer verbal adjustments.

Joining Class
Please join class at least 5 minutes prior to start time. Have props setup and water available. Class times are in PST (Pacific Standard Time).

Music
We know that if you come to our in-person classes that you are used to music playing in the background. While we do not play during our online classes, you may choose to play your own via Pandora or Spotify (both are free streaming services).

Props
We love using props during our in-person classes, however we know purchasing a lot of props isn’t always feasible. Use what you have in your home! Here is a Yoga Prop Guide we created if you are looking to purchase or substitute.

Props recommendations for each class:

  • Baby & Me - yoga mat, blanket and toys for baby

  • Prenatal Yoga - yoga mat, 2 blocks, blanket, bolster (optional), wall space (optional)

  • Mom Strong - yoga mat, 2 blocks, strap, blanket, bolster (optional)

  • Yin for Motherhood - yoga mat, 2 blocks, strap, blanket, bolster (or 2-3 blankets), wall space (optional)

*Please note - props are not required for practice and we may not use everything in a class.
