Birth Basics

Birth Basics: Knowledge and Comfort for Every Path is a comprehensive and empowering childbirth education workshop designed to help expectant parents feel informed, grounded, and prepared for labor and birth—no matter how their journey unfolds.

This 5-hour workshop is held over two days (2.5 hours each), allowing time for integration, reflection, and questions between sessions. Together, we explore the physiology of birth, the stages of labor, and the wide range of normal experiences that can arise. The course includes discussion of vaginal birth, Caesarean birth, and common medical interventions, with an emphasis on informed decision-making and consent.

Through a blend of engaging instruction, discussion, and experiential learning, participants will build a strong foundation of understanding while also being introduced to practical comfort strategies. We explore breathing techniques, relaxation and visualization, movement and position changes, and coping tools that support both the birthing person and their partner during labor.

Dates: April 25 & 26
Time: 11am-1:30pm
Investment: $275
