FAQ About Yoga

What are virtual sessions like? Virtual sessions are held live on Zoom. We will do introductions the start of each class and encourage that you turn on your camera to “say hello”. During practice you may choose to have it on or off. The instructor will have participants muted during the session. We typically demo each pose but will check-in on students periodically throughout the session. Some session will be recorded and shared with our online community.

When should I start taking prenatal yoga classes?
There is no right or wrong time to start. The second trimester is usually when most women feel the most energetic. I recommend starting sooner, rather than later so you can receive the most benefits.

When is the best time to start postnatal classes?
For mom: once you are cleared by your doctor and are feeling ready to leave the house. For baby: anytime, the earlier the better. The more you attend baby & me, give both mom and baby a chance to get use the routine and the environment.

I have never done yoga before. Will I fit in?
We were all new once! Beginners and students with no yoga experience are welcome.
